Club and Societies
TLC-Model United Nations Conference
We will be participating in the Taylor's College Lakeside Campus Model United Nations (MUN) conference from the 30th July (Friday) till the 1st Aug 2010 (Sunday). 23 students from KS3 and 9 students from KS4 will be representing the school for this event.
Chinese Chess Competition
The Mandarin Club (KS4) organized our very first Chinese Chess Competition on the 5th and 6th July 2010. The competition was held in the school hall, where fifty students from KS3 and KS4 participated at the preliminary level. The competition symbolized the continuity of the Chinese culture and enhances students' critical thinking skills. The semi-finals and finals will be carried out in August.
Sports and Games
National Ancient Junior Under 19 Fencing Tournament
On the 10th of July, Wong Ee Yang of 5 Sc 1 took part in the National Ancient Junior Under 19 Fencing Tournament held in Malacca and organized by the Franciscan Fencing Club. He took part in the Men Foil's Team event and won a Bronze medal.
Athletics - Siemens Run
On the 18th July nine students took part in the International Siemens 6 Km run held at Dataran Merdeka. Once again these students did the school proud.

5. Douglas Chan Yeat Tat 3 E finished within the time limit
Sportsunite / MILO / VIVA Unity Taekwando Poomsae Championship
On the 18th of July 2010, four of our students, namely Kevin Ho, Rylan Ho, Melissa Chong and Reanne Ho took part in the Sportunite/Milo/Viva Taekwondo Championship held at The Badminton Stadium. Kevin Ho of 5 Sc 1 emerged as bronze medalist in the Secondary Individual, and Secondary Team events while Rylan Ho and Reanne Ho had managed to get into the semifinals.
